TSE POLE is one of the applications of the TSE Tower Structural Engineering family of programs. The TSE POLE is a powerful and comprehensive Microsoft Windows program for the analysis and design of Transmission tubular poles and multi-poles frames to a range of international standards. The program also designs the base plates and anchorage bolts.
TSE POLE includes powerful and productive features for generating any type of tubular poles and multi-poles structures. Engineers can now model faster than ever using the advanced graphical functions. Standard libraries also include materials and sections.
•Metric, imperial and mixed units systems are allowed and can be modified at any time.
•Parametric tubular tapered section shapes available:
o Polygonal 16 sided
o Polygonal 12 sided
o Polygonal 8 sided

o Rectangular and square tubes
•Extensive database of standard sections and materials (ASCE, CISC, European), and more than 30 non-standard section shapes.

Member capacities may be checked against the international design standards ASCE Manual No. 72 and ASCE/SEI 48-11. Extensive types of checks performed by the program include slenderness, buckling, anchor, anchor rod strength, tensile and compression strengths, shear, bending and combined loads.

•Table to define the slenderness ratios of the members that will be considered in the design of the structure. The slenderness ratios should be specified as an equivalent slenderness for members with a variable inertia.
•Calculates the member’s resistance for bending, compression, tension, shear and combined loads.
•Calculates the internal stresses for the tubes, anchorage bolts and base plates. Design the base plate and bolts.

TSE POLE provides you with rich inquiry tools to review the results on screen and an exhaustive set of results and diagrams. It displays compression curves, deflection, axial forces, torsion, bending moments and stress diagrams.
Also, it displays results numerically by means of tables. Customizable and easy to create reports generation is provided in several formats.
•Towers can be shown as lines, wire frames or can be rendered as 3D polygon surfaces.
•Results can be visualized either graphically or numerically.
